Terms of Use

Last updated 18 October 2026

Risk warning: crypto is high risk. You can lose all the money you put in, and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong. Read the Risk notice.

1. Who we are

Swap Street ("Swap Street", "we", "us") is the website at swap-street.com and the Swap Street xApp inside Xaman. It is operated by Jack Scott, a sole trader in England, trading as Swap Street. Contact: hello@swapstreet.com.

By using Swap Street you agree to these Terms, the Risk notice and the Privacy notice. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. What Swap Street is, and what it isn't

Swap Street is software. It reads public data from the XRP Ledger and market-data providers, and builds transactions that you review and sign in your own wallet (for example Xaman, Joey, or a wallet connected through WalletConnect or Reown).

3. Who can use it

You may use Swap Street only if all of these are true:

We block access from some countries. You must not use a VPN, proxy or other tool to get around that. We may refuse or end access at any time.

4. Fees

WhatFee
Swaps, limit orders, adding and removing liquidity0.20% of the XRP value, paid in XRP in the same signed transaction. Always shown before you sign. If a limit order doesn't fill, you can close it and reclaim the fee for the unfilled part.
Leaderboard prize claimsA small XRP claim fee, shown before you sign.
Bridging (ChangeNOW)ChangeNOW's spread and network fees, built into the rate you see. Swap Street may receive a commission from ChangeNOW, which is included in that rate.
XRP LedgerNetwork fees, trustline and pool reserves, and pool-creation costs are set by the ledger, not by us.

Fees are not refundable once a transaction is on the ledger, except for the limit-order refund above.

5. Third-party services

Swap Street links to services we don't control: the XRP Ledger, Xaman (XRPL Labs), Joey, WalletConnect/Reown, xrpl.to (market data and swap quotes) and ChangeNOW (bridging). Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Bridging is a direct exchange between you and ChangeNOW. ChangeNOW receives your deposit and sends the payout. It may delay, refund or hold an order for anti-money-laundering or other checks under its terms of use. Problems with a bridge order must be raised with ChangeNOW using the order ID.

We don't check, approve or vouch for any token, issuer or liquidity pool. Anyone can issue a token on the XRP Ledger, including fakes that copy a real name or logo.

7. Your responsibilities

8. No guarantees

Swap Street is provided "as is" and "as available". Quotes, prices, balances, rewards figures and other data can be wrong, late or missing. The software may have bugs, be unavailable, or change without notice. Smart features (atomic Batch transactions, limit orders, automatic refunds) rely on the XRP Ledger and third parties working as expected.

9. Our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for: losses from price movements, slippage, impermanent loss, failed or delayed transactions, mistakes in transactions you sign, lost keys, hacks of your wallet or device, third-party services (including ChangeNOW, xrpl.to and wallet providers), worthless or fraudulent tokens, changes to or the end of rewards, or any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the Swap Street fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending access

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you continue. We may change, suspend or stop any part of Swap Street at any time. Because we don't hold your funds, stopping the service doesn't affect what's in your wallet.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If a part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
